PURPOSE:To provide a screening method of monoclonal antibody raised in probability of production of antibody against a hapten bound to a carrier protein, using the hapten bound to a carrier protein as an antigen. CONSTITUTION:In a method for preparing a monoclonal antibody specific to a low-molecular weight compound, this screening method of monoclonal antibody is to use (1) a conjugate of a low-molecular weight compound used as immunogen and a carrier protein as an antigen, (2) a substance other than a carrier protein as a blocking and (3) a carrier protein as a diluent of a liquid to be examined, when a hybridoma producing the antibody is subjected to screening. |
