PURPOSE:To visually recognize a color change caused by adjustment by carrying out the color sampling and test printing operations by means of an adjusted color when the color density is adjusted. CONSTITUTION:When a test print mode is selected, a test print command is read out of a test pattern storing part 100 and analyzed at a command analyzing part 26. The values NY, NM, NC and NBk of the color adjustment stages are set at the color adjustment information set by a control panel 23. Then the color adjustment information is evolved in dots to a page information storing part 27 for test print. Furthermore, other environment information are also evolved in dots and sent to an output part 2A through a color regeneration processing part 25 and at the color adjustment stage set via the panel 23. Then a raster image is drawn. As a result, the set color adjustment stages are numerically recognized and also visually recognized in a test pattern as the actual gray scale density. |
