PURPOSE:To provide a reset circuit which can surely make switching operations by reducing the surge current of the switching element. CONSTITUTION:In a reset circuit in which a series circuit of the main winding 14 of a transformer 13 and a switching element 16 and another serial circuit of the reset winding 15 of the transformer and a reset diode 17 are connected in parallel between DC input power sources, the reset diode 17 is connected so that its cathode and anode can be respectively connected to the plus-side terminal 10 of the input power source and one of end of the reset winding 15. When such a constitution is used, the surge current generated when the switching element 16 is turned on can be reduced, because the resetting circuit does not change the distributed capacity of the transformer 13. Therefore, a highly reliable resetting circuit for switching power sources free from the malfunction of its overcurrent protective circuit can be obtained without increasing the cost by only changing the inserting position of the diode 17. |
