PURPOSE:To enable the life of a grinding wheel to be prolonged and to improve productivity while absolutely eliminate the chipping of the wheel entering into the edge of a product at its grinding, by using a diamond resinoid bond wheel and glycerine as the grinding fluid. CONSTITUTION:A diamond resinoid bond wheel, having a cutting edge on the upper surface, is filled with glycerine 11 in a surface of the cutting edge of the wheel. A holder 12 for holding a product 13 fixes a pulley 18 being rotated by a motor 16. A motor 27 is connected to a wheel 10 through a belt 28, and holders 33, 34 are fixed to a bed 35, while sliders 31, 32 can be moved in the holders in the vertical direction. At grinding, lowering a vertical mount by an air piston 36 and urging the product 13 to the cutting edge surface of the wheel, the wheel 10, being turned by the motor 27, grinds the product 13. |
