PURPOSE:To easily perform composition based on conception to freely assigning the data of an accompaniment pattern, etc., in unit of bar or beat on a musical score generating area called as a canvas in a composition device which performs the composition on a display screen by using a computer, etc. CONSTITUTION:This device is provided with a pallet storage means to store plural pieces of musical raw piece data as a pallet classified by every specification, a pallet display means to display the pallet selected from the storage means on the display screen, a canvas display means to display the canvas that is a time series in accordance with the progression of music on the display screen, a data write means to write by selecting an arbitrary musical raw piece data from the pallet displayed on the display screen on the arbitrary position of the canvas, a code input means to write an arbitrary code at the arbitrary position of the canvas, and a music data generating means to generate music data based on the musical raw piece data and the code written on the canvas. |
