PURPOSE:To provide a method and device for eluting and transferring nucleic acid contained in a gel by which nucleic acid can be accurately, quickly, and economically eluted and transferred without deforming the gel. CONSTITUTION:In a device for eluting and transferring nuclei acid contained in gels, a filter paper or special film 13 for transfer and a porous pad material 10 having a high water absorption property put under the entire lower surface of the film 13 are provided immediately below a gel 12 containing nuclei acid mobilized by electrophoresis. The nuclei acid is eluted by passing a buffer solution through the gel 12 from the top by utilizing a capillary phenomenon and the gravity and transferred to the filter paper or special film 13. |
