System for digitising video images

A system for digitising video images, having an analog/digital converter and storage means, is to be improved to the effect that, even in the case of simple computers, for example PCs, images can be acquired and rapidly processed. For this purpose it is proposed that a device be provided for the comparison of successive pixels, the device determining the number of similar pixels, and that the device be connected to an interface for a computer, the interface feeding the number and the value characterising the associated pixel to the output of the device.
