PROCESS FOR THE PREPARATIONS OF METAL-METHIONINE COMPOSITIONS

The preparation method for methionine metal salts (I) consists of (1) mixing 0.2M zinc sulfate or ferrous sulfate in methanol at 60-65'C for 3 hrs, (2) adding 0.2M DL-methionine in the reacted solution (1) at the same temperature for 3 hrs, (3) cooling to get precipitates and filtering, and (4) drying the residue (I) at 100-105'C for 3 hrs. The final (I) do not have methanol and hydrated.
