PURPOSE:To control a damper for an automobile by detecting the contamination of the outside air rapidly without being subject to the effect of a wind and without contaminating a gas sensor by dust and water droplets. CONSTITUTION:A printed board 6 is mounted to an upper section and a gas sensor 8 and a cover 16 to a lower section, gas introducing ports 18 are formed at positions lower than the gas sensor 8 in the cover 16, and a drain hole 20 is formed at the lower end of the cover 16. Ventilating holes 22 are formed to the board 6 at positions between the gas sensor 8 and the inner circumference of the cover 16, and the replacement of air in the root of the cover 16 is promoted by utilizing wind pressure on the inside and outside of the board 6. |
