PURPOSE:To eliminate the need of previously declaring the type of a continuous line so as to simplify an input operation by providing a means for designating the continuous line which is to be plotted as a closed curve while a point on the continuous line is designated. CONSTITUTION:The start point of the continuous line which is to be plotted is inputted by using a mouse 14. A graphic editing part 16 inputs and holds the start point coordinate in the coordinate storage area 18B of a graphic memory 18. Then, the passing points of the continuous line are sequentially inputted, and the coordinates are held in the coordinate storage area 18B of the memory 18. At the time of inputting the closed curve, a retrieval area for retrieving the start point is inputted. The graphic editing part 16 retrieves the start point of the continuous line in the retrieval area, and sets the retreival point (start point) to be a final point. Then, the closed curve returning the start point from the start point through the respective passing points is plotted and displayed in a display part 22. At the time of inputting an opened curve, the final point is inputted by clicking twice the mouse key of the mouse 14 in the same coordinate. |
