<p>PURPOSE:To facilitate the burying work of a coupling for an electric resistance wire by a method wherein the electric resistance wire is bent at the middle part thereof so as to obtain a U-shape and one electric resistance wire and the other electric resistance wire, exposed from the bent part, are wound spirally in double on a plane while both ends are formed so as to be a flat plate, pulled out of an outer peripheral side, and neighboring electric resistance wires are bonded integrally. CONSTITUTION:An electric resistance wire 1 is obtained by a method W herein an electric resistance element wire 2 is covered with a thermoplastic resin layer 3, then, the layer 3 is covered further by the insulating layer 14 of glass fibers and, further, the insulating layer 4 is covered with a thermoplastic resin layer u The electric resistance wire 1 is bent at the middle part thereof so as to have U-shape and one electric resistance wire 1b and the other electric resistance wire 1c, which are at the end of the bent part 1a, are wound spirally in double on a plane and both ends of the electric resistance wire 1 are formed so as to bave a flat plate pulled out of an outer periphery. Further, the neighboring electric resistance wires 1b, 1c are connected integrally to obtain a heater retaining the shape of a flat plate. According to this method, the electric esistance wire can be handled as a single substance at the time forming a coupling.</p> |
