PURPOSE:To obtain a reliable and sufficient ion exchanging capacity by breaking the boundary layer of water flow and accelerating diffusion of the water flowing in an ion exchange resin layer. CONSTITUTION:A resin cylinder 1 packed with the ion exchange resin 2 is provided with an ultrasonic wave generating device 3, and by irradiating water and the ion exchange resin with the ultrasonic wave at the adsorbing stage and regenerating stage, the boundary layer of flow is broken and diffusion action is accelerated, and the adsorbing capacity and the regenerating capacity of the ion exchange resin is improved. |
