PURPOSE:To assure the sure control even to such products that adopt the new technologies added after a home control system is set up by providing a ROM where a home controller can perform the rewriting operations and writing additionally the control commands and the control programs into the ROM as necessary. CONSTITUTION:A home controller 1a is provided with a CPU 11 and a ROM 12 where the control procedure and the fixed data are previously written and then offered to the CPU as necessary. Furthermore, an E<2>PROM 13 is added to write the control commands and programs which are added after a home control system is set up together with a RAM 14 which is used as a working area for arithmetic processing of the CPU 11 or an input/output buffer, and an I/O 15 which performs the input/output operations of data to a home bus 6. In such a constitution, even those control commands and programs that could not be prepared at the time of production and set-up of the system can be written into the ROM, as necessary, after the system is set up. Thus, it is pos sible to surely control such products that adopt the new technologies. |
