<p>PURPOSE: To rapidly reduce a tape tension for the operation in a stanby mode by pressing the tape with the free end of a sensing lever under the action of a spring acting on the sending lever and returning to a neutral position with a controller when the lever deviates from the neutral position. CONSTITUTION: The magnetic tape 14 is pressed with the free end of the sensing lever 15 under the action of the spring 16 acting on the lever 15. And when the lever 15 deviates from the neutral position 15', it is returned to the neutral position 15' with the controllers 17, 18 changing the tape tension. On the other hand, when solenoids 21a, 21 are energized in order to excite a driving mechanism 20, the elastic driving lever 22 is transfered within the swing range of the lever 15, and the lever 15 is turned away against the force F of the spring 16. As the result of it, the lever 15 is moved left and right so as to deviate from the neutral position 15', whereby a signal is transmitted to controllers 17, 18 so as to reduce the current in a motor 18 with a position sensor 19. Therefore, forces FB1 , FB2 of the tape is reduced and the lever 15 is returned to the neutral position.</p> |
