A method for improving the capacity of chelates of paramagnetic metals to influence proton relaxation times during NMR imaging is described, and comprises attaching a polyiodated component having at least one triiodated aromatic or heteroaromatic residue which is opaque to X- rays to the chelating part of the molecule. |
