<p>The screen for removing undesirable particles from a liquid, e.g. oil well drilling fluids, comprises a parallel array of chute filaments (11), 0.0010 to 0.0070 inch dia., spaced by a distance less than preselected min. linear dimension of particles, and a second array of warp filaments (13), comprising gps. of at least the filaments, oppositely woven between not more than two filaments of the first array, the spacing being at least equal to the min. particle dimension. The first filaments are at least 1.1 times the dia. of the second filaments.</p> |
