发明名称 SIGNAL TRANSMISSION MECHANISM FOR ULTRASONIC FLAW DETECTOR
摘要 PURPOSE:To provide a signal transmission mechanism equipped with a simple and small electrode section for use with an ultrasonic flaw detector having a rotary probe where the mechanism is used to perform signal transmission and receipt between the probe and the fixed detector. CONSTITUTION:A stationary electrode 3 is provided in such a way as faces to a disc type rotary electrode 2 having a center hole coupled and fixed to a probe holder 23 holding a probe. The rotary electrode 2 is connected to the probe via a coaxial cable and the stationary electrode 3 is connected to the flaw detector via the coaxial cable. The stationary electrode 3 becomes afloat at a position where dynamic lift due to an air flow generated during the rotation of the rotary electrode 2 balances with the spring force of a leaf spring 4. The electrode 3 is formed like a block and, therefore, can be easily machined to high precision. Thus, a gap between both electrodes 2 and 3 can be shortened, compared with the conventional case.
