摘要 <p>An electrical discharge machining device is provided, having a source of pulse power, optionally containing bipolar pulses, which is connected to an electrode which forms a gap with a workpiece and functions for the purpose of providing both machining and finishing processes. The procedures of switching power to the machining gap and impedance matching at the machining gap are provided, for the purpose of suppressing the influence of the capacitance of high-speed machining supply cables which are connected to the machining gap during finishing. The result is that machining can be carried out with high accuracy in the context of a discharge current which has a suitable time characteristic and a suitable shape. Impedance matching is provided by selectively switching between a multiplicity of capacitances or inductances which may be present in the form of cables or printed patterns on a circuit board, which have predetermined values, such as geometric row values (serial values) whose coefficient is 2. <IMAGE></p>
