HOLLOW LIGHT TRANSMISSION PLATE MAIN BODY AND HOLLOW LIGHT TRANSMISSION PLATE USING THE SAME

PURPOSE:To provide a light-weight hollow light transmission plate body and a hollow light transmission plate using the plate body capable of outputting the light having high luminance and high homogenenuity. CONSTITUTION:A flat light reflection layer 2a and a light outgoing layer 2b which is smoothly curved in one axial direction are arranged so that the light receiving layer 2a confronts the light outgoing layer 2b on one end of the curved axis and the light outgoing layer 2b is brought into contact with the light reflection layer 2a on the other side through an air layer 4 and a light source 2c is linearly arranged in the direction nearly perpendicular to a plane including the curved axis at the end part of the air layer 4 on the side on which the light outgoing layer 2b confronts the light reflection layer 2a. The light outgoing layer 2b is composed of a flexible transmissive sheet whose outer surface is a smooth surface 2b1 and its inner surface opposing to the light reflection layer 2a is made of the rugged surfaces of continuous prisms 2b2 juxtaposing each principal axis of its many prism bodies P in parallel at nearly a right angle to the curved axis.
