PURPOSE: To provide a toothbrush which is composed of a small number of single parts and has a replaceable brush head capable of keeping constant contact pressure to object tooth. CONSTITUTION: A brush neck 12 has a connecting head 22 in its own coupling end 20 in the direction of a handle 14. The handle 14 has a connecting fork 26 on which the connecting head of the brush neck is fitted in between bifurcated leg parts of itself in its own coupling end 24 in the direction of the brush neck 12 and is connected by a swivel axle 32. A sealing member 16 is composed of a pressure elastic material. The connecting fork 26 itself has a tensile force elastic structure so that the sealing member 16 is held by the connecting fork 26 in an elastic preliminary tensile force applied condition between mutually opposing joining end parts of the handle 14 and the brush neck 12.
