The description relates to a process for improving frequency allocation in a cellular mobile radio system with multiple coverage for a radio system architecture of a multiple cell cluster with mutually overlapping hexagonal cells, in which each hexagonal cell is covered simulteanously from three of its corners by fixed stations with the same frequency group, whereby overlapping sectors are covered by non-adjacent frequencies.
