<p>The principal ingredient of the surface-releasing agent is a coplymeric resin obtained by the polymerization of a monomer mixture composed of 50 to 99.5% by weight of a polyfluoroalkyl vinyl monomer such as 2-(perfluorooctyl)ethyl (meth)acrylate and (2) from 50 to 0.5% by weight of an organosilicon-containing vinyl monomer having at least one hydrolyzable group in a molecule such as vinyl triethoxy silane and 3-methacryloxypropyl trimethoxy silane, optionally, combined with other vinyl monomers. The surface-releasing agent is very effective even against silicone-based sticking adhesives.</p>
