The invention relates to biphenyl derivatives of the general formula in which A to E and X are as defined in Claim 1, stereoisomers thereof, including mixtures thereof and salts thereof, in particular physiologically tolerated salts with inorganic or organic acids, which have useful properties, preferably aggregation-inhibiting actions, to medicinal preparations containing these compounds and to processes for their production.
