The invention relates to a Rotpunkt teabag holder (1) in the form of an upright rectangle made of coloured card. With a tapered slight curve (1a) and (1b) and four slightly rounded outer edges (5), and with an adhering holding tongue (2) tapering conically at the bottom, it can be folded out in an integrated manner. The teabag attachment (4) is located at the tapered end of the adhering holding tongue (1c). The teabag attachment string (6) is pulled through a small hole (4) made in any manner from the bottom to the top and in the centre of the tapered width of the tongue (1c) and is knotted (4). It should be noted that the length of the teabag string (6) from the knot (4) on the adhering holding tongue up to the top edge (7) of the teabag (8) should be defined prior to knotting so that the teabag (8) cannot sit (10) on the bottom of the teapot (9). To cover the type of attachment (4), a punched-out red spot (3) is stuck over it. This red spot (3) incorporates the actual brand mark (3). The Rotpunkt teabag holder (1) can be fitted onto the edge (11) of the teapot or coffee jug and thus provides firm balanced holding.
