<p>Silver recovery device (20) for recovering silver from rinsing water from photographic processing apparatus by means of a bed (185) of ion exchange resin which is fluidized by the rinsing water, which device comprises a holder (110) for ion exchange resin, said holder having a liquid inlet opening (189) at the bottom, a control holder (164) with an inlet opening (181) for rinsing water from the processor, and with a first outlet opening (177) for the liquid of the resin holder and a second outlet opening (163) for said liquid which is located at a level higher than the first one, and circulation pump means (134) for pumping liquid that flows from said first outlet opening (177) to the inlet opening (189) of the resin holder (110), the inlet (181) of the device being at the suction end of the circulation pump means (134), and the outlet of the device being at the second outlet opening (163).</p> |
