发明名称 COMPONENT POSITION RECOGNITION EQUIPMENT
摘要 PURPOSE:To allow highly accurate positional recognition of a component having protrusions by determining the position of protrusion in a plurality of regions of a component image containing the tip parts of protrusion individually and then determining the position of component based on the position of protrusion thus determined. CONSTITUTION:An image data transfer means 102 transfers image data in the objective regions of projective operation, corresponding in number to the electrodes (protrusion), being set to contain one tip part of the electrode of an objective component (e.g. a flat package IC) within an input image sequentially from a gray image stored in an image memory 101 to a horizontal projection operating means 103 and a vertical projection operating means 104 where projection operation is carried out and a connected data of operation results is stored 105. Subsequently, an electrode position detecting means 106 detects an edge for each data and a position calculating means 107 calculates the center of gravity of the objective component and the inclination angle thereof with respect to the axis based on the positions of all electrodes detected by an electrode position detecting means 106 thus detecting the position of the objective component.
