PURPOSE:To efficiently prepare a document by measuring idle time intervals at an input part and automatically outputting relevant guide information corresponding to the time intervals and the conditions of a document editing part. CONSTITUTION:It is decided by a sensor reaction part 7 whether any person presents in front of the device or not. When any person presents in front of it, a time interval measuring part 3 measures the time interval after a character is inputted by an input part 1. A guide selection part 5 decides whether it is idle time to output the guide information or not by identifying the idle time provided by the time interval measuring part 3 and the conditions of a document editing part 2. At the prescribed idle time, the relevant guide information is detected from a guide data storage part 4 corresponding to the idle time and the editing conditions. A guide output part 6 outputs the guide information selected by the guide selection part 5. Thus, the document preparation is continued by successively inputting characters and even when the idle time is generated during the preparation, the suitable guide information is outputted even without performing any command operation. |
