<p>PURPOSE:To provide a sheet feeding device which is constituted to improve safety and reliability through prevention of drawing of a sheet containing means from a device body during sheet feed operation. CONSTITUTION:A sheet feeding device is provided with a sheet containing part 2 on which a plurality of paper sheets are placed and which is removable from a device body in a direction extending a sheet feeding direction at right angles. A lever 26 is locked to a lock groove 27 in linkage with feed operation of a first feed part 5 to feed paper sheets P and a first sheet containing part 2 is locked in a draw direction to the device body.</p> |
