<p>PURPOSE:To securely judge a pen-DOWN state or pen-UP state and extract only effective coordinate data when an input load is less than a prescribed value by providing a coordinate data generating means which generates coordinate data in the pen-DOWN state and a judging means which judges whether or not the pen-DOWN state is effective. CONSTITUTION:The pressure sensitive tablet 10 has an X-axial transparent electrode 3 and a Y-axial transparent electrode 4 and a controller 11 detects the coordinates of an input position P where the input surface of the pressure sensitive tablet 10 is pressed with a pen on the basis of voltage signals. A control circuit 14 has a microprocessor 15 and calculates position information on the input position P from digital data outputted from an A/D converting circuit 13. Further, a control signal SW for performing switching control over the control circuit 14 and switches XG and XV, and YG and YV is outputted to perform judgement processing for the pen-DOWN state and pen-UP state and extraction processing for effective coordinate data when the input load is less than the prescribed value.</p> |
