In an injection-moulding apparatus intended particularly for the manufacture of parts from a thermoplastic which is in a pasty and highly viscous state while it is being injected, it is proposed to heat part of the divergent, carrot-shaped passage (sprue) (46) via which the material is injected into the mould (42). More precisely, the inlet part of the passage (46) adjoining the injection nozzle (30) is heated to a material-gelling temperature intermediate between the temperature at which it is injected and the temperature to which the material is cooled in the mould (42). <IMAGE> |
