PURPOSE:To provide an air bag imparted with strength at a part where gas emitted from an inflator directly hits or at a part where the gas hits at high speed and which is excellent in production efficiency and accommodation performance. CONSTITUTION:An outer bag body 11 is constituted of high strength fiber yarn mainly composed of one or more kinds of thermal plastic resin integrally knitted or woven into a bag shape by means of warp knitting such as tricot knitting, raschel knitting, multishaft constituting knitting or hollow weaving, plain weaving, jacquard weaving and the like. In a part 11a where pressure is applied, a count per inch is determined more than that of the other part 11b to make knitting density thereof higher than that of the other part 11b so as to increase strength of this part 11a. |
