In a device for securing the plug-in position between a threaded shank, preferably exhibiting a cylinder core, and a sheath part with a corresponding cylinder bore, more reliable and easier mounting is intended to be made possible. For this purpose it is proposed to render at least one axial section of the sheath part radially deformable and to enclose it by an annular pressure part. Mutually complementary rotary wedge profiles are arranged between the circumferential surface of the sheath part and the annular inner surface of the pressure part. Said rotary wedge profiles extend in a radial plane and have, on the one hand, a radially rising, male rotary wedge with a convex wedge surface and, on the other hand, a radially falling, female rotary wedge with a concave wedge surface. Upon rotating the pressure part relative to the sheath part in the direction of the wedge rise, the two rotary wedge profiles run onto one another. Consequently, that axial section of the sheath part which is enclosed by the pressure part is forced radially, with its cylinder bore, against the outer cylinder surface of the core part plugged in there, until the core part is clamped in the sheath part.
