PURPOSE:To prepare the subject KONJAK (paste made from the starch of devil's tongue) having the characteristic palatability of KONJAK by mixing powder of devil's tongue starch with rice bran and preparing KONJAK from the mixture. CONSTITUTION:Powder of devil's tongue starch is mixed with up to 50wt.% (based on the starch powder) of rice bran and KONJAK is prepared from the mixture by conventional method such as the addition of a coagulant, etc. A KONJAK containing rice bran can be prepared by nearly the same process as the conventional process using a conventional KONJAK preparation apparatus. |
