Crash barrier arrangement which comprises posts (1) anchored at least indirectly in the ground and having a C-shaped cross-section and bearing sleeves (5) which have a C-shaped cross-section and can be slid over the upper ends (2) of the posts (1) and can be fixed to the posts (1) by bolts (6) having a preset breaking point, which bearing sleeves are fixed below horizonal spacer supports (13) which support, on at least a front side (14), a fastening plate (15) on which are screwed crash barrier elements (18) which have a W-shaped cross-section and constitute the components of a continuous crash barrier, characterised in that a filler element (23) in the form of a small plate which reduces frictional resistance is incorporated between the mutually parallel arms (11, 10) of each post (1) and of each bearing sleeve (5). <IMAGE>
