<p>PURPOSE:To execute the measurement without being affected by the surface condition in comparison with the detection of the edge position by using the laser beam as the edge position of an H-shape steel by a plurality of line sensors capable of receiving the regular light, and continuously measure the outer dimensions of shapes with high precision as the outer dimensions of the shapes are detected by inputting the measured signal in a computing and processing part. CONSTITUTION:A dimension measuring device of shapes consists of a light source part 12 to radiate the light on an H-shape steel, a plurality of line sensors 11 to input the reflected light from the H-shape steel, an edge position detecting circuit 14 to detect the edge position of the H-shape steel by the light-receiving signal from the respective line sensors 11, a plurality of laser distance meter 13 to measure the distance to the surface of the H-shape steel, and a computing and processing part 15 to input the measured signal from the edge position detecting circuit 14 and the laser instance meter 13 and compute the outer dimensions of the H-shape steel.</p> |
