A luminescent element including a dose of radioluminescent material and attachable to the surface of a support. The element consists of a hardened mass (50) in which particles (41) of the radioluminescent material are embedded, said mass having a moulded surface (53) formed within a suitably shaped cavity (30) and a free surface (54) which is free during moulding and designed to be applied to said support. The hardened mass (50) may be removed from the cavity (30) or the cavity (30) is transparent and forms a protective cup. A method for producing a luminescent element and a device for carrying out said method are also disclosed. |
