Determination of a slope with a golf putter

Device which may or may not be integrally combined with a golf putter for making it possible to determine the characteristics of the slope of a green of a golf course. The invention relates to a device allowing accurate determination of the direction of the slope of a green with a view to improving the playing accuracy of the golfer. It consists either of a bubble (spirit) level sealed in a space made in the putter or of a bubble level fixed by means of lugs onto a support. This bubble level is adjusted by a compensator, a screw and a ball joint housed in a space in the support. A cap through which a hole is pierced for adjusting the screw protects the assembly. By laying the putter on the ground, the golfer can determine the direction of the slope and assess its magnitude. The device according to the invention is particularly intended for improving the playing accuracy of the golfer as well as to teach him/her how to visually assess the direction of the slope of a green. <IMAGE>
