<p>PURPOSE:To produce three-dimensional spherical nonwoven fabric resistive to coming off of fluff by forming a dot-shaped joint part on nonwoven fabric composed of multilayer sheets and cutting a prescribed shape around the joint part. CONSTITUTION:One or more sheets of nonwoven fabric 1 containing a polyolefin-, polyester-, polyamide-, polyvinyl chloride-, polyvinylidene chloride- based thermoplastic fiber, etc., are put in layers and a dot-shaped part 2 is subsequently formed according to the ultrasonic sealing method, the high-frequency sealing method, etc. A circular shape is then cut and perforated around the dot-shaped joint part 2 and the respective sheets are deformed. The degree of deformation is allowed to increase in proportional as the sheet comes to the upper or the lower surface of the nonwoven fabric before formation of the joint part 2. Thus, the objective three-dimensional spherical nonwoven fabric is produced.</p> |
