<p>A method of using an ethylene glycol naphthenate as a pigment dispersant useful in water-borne and high-solids coatings and its composition is disclosed. Specifically, triethylene glycol naphthenate is useful in dispersion of carbon black in acrylic, vinyl, acrylic/epoxy, polyurethane and alkyd/melamine resins for use in water-based paints.</p> |
