PURPOSE: To efficiently convert energy of plastic waste into power by plasma heating and decomposing plastic waste, supplying gas as fuel to a gas turbine, and supplying steam by waste heat to a steam turbine. CONSTITUTION: Polymeric waste is temporarily stored in a container 1, fed into a working screw 2, crushed, molten, compressed, and then plasma heated and decomposed in a reactor 3. Next, plasma heated and decomposed gas is cooled in a cooling stage 4 to generate steam in an exhaust heat stage 5, and the gas is cooled by a gas cooler 6. The gas is sequentially supplied to an acidity absorbing stage 7 and to a basicity absorbing stage 8 and refined. The refined gas is compressed in a compression stage 9 and reheated by a heat exchanger 6. After that, the gas is supplied to a gas turbine 10 to generate power, and the waste gas is supplied to a waste heat generator 11 to generate steam, and the steam is supplied to a steam turbine 12 to generate power. |
