PURPOSE:To make it possible to detect faulty drive of an external device always with a proper allowable voltage of main unit of the device even though an external device is replaced in an electronic device to which the external device can be removably connected to the main body of the device. CONSTITUTION:Respective external devices 21 and 24 have built-in type signal output means 32 which output a voltage drop signal to the main body 20 of the device when the drive voltage supplied from the main body 20 of the device drops below the preset allowable voltage; and fault detecting means 27, which can detect faulty drive of the external devices 21 and 24 after receiving a voltage drop signal, is built in the main body 20 of the device. |
