<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a magnetic recording medium having excellent shelf stability, travelling properties and durability by forming a lubricating layer cotaining an organic fluorine compound on a magnetic layer. CONSTITUTION:A magnetic recording medium has a magnetic layer on one surface on a normagnetic supporter. The carbon skeleton of alkylene is formed on the magnetic layer, and a fluoroalkyl-containing group consisting of a fluoroalkyl group and another atom or atomic group is bonded with at least two carbon constituting the carbon skeleton. The content of an organic fluorine compound bonding with the carbon of a double bond is formed in at least one fluoroalkyl-containing group. The organic fluorine compound has a composition shown in formula 1. In formula, Rf<1> and Rf<2> represent CF3CF2 (CF2)n(CH2)m (n=1-10, m=1-20, n+n=6-30), etc., Y<1> and Y<2> O, OCO, COO, etc., R<1> CH2, CH (CH2)k (k=0-2), etc., R<2> and R<3> H or carbon and hydogen, A and B (CH2)k (k= 0-2) and (a) 1 or more.</p> |
