PURPOSE:To enable easy and speedy registration work by abolishing retrieval keyword registration work so as to retrieve an electronic document with retrieval keywords extracted from both of a text information part and an image information part. CONSTITUTION:When the desired retrieval keyword to be registered is registered by an input device 1, it is registered on a storage device 4 by a retrieval keyword registration part 52 of an electronic file processor 5. When the electronic document is registered, the inputted electronic document is divided into the text information part and the image information part by a retrieval keyword extraction part 51. Then, each of information is resolved into words and temporarily preserved as keyword candidates. The retrieval keywords are automatically extracted from both of the text information part and the image information part, and only the retrieval keyword recognized in a retrieval keyword table is adopted among the temporarily preserved retrieval keywords and decided as the retrieval keyword. Then, it is registered on the storage device 4 by the retrieval keyword registration part 52. |
