In order to create a low-voltage installation system, consisting of two electrical conductors (which are stiff in bending, can be laid parallel to one another and are free of insulation), mounting and holding devices for arranging the conductors in a fixed position, a low-voltage power source which can be connected to the conductors, and electrical loads which can be mounted on the conductors, with the aid of which system a large number of light elements can be arranged relatively easily on, for example, a room ceiling, it is proposed that the mutually parallel conductors (1) are arranged at a distance one above the other with respect to the associated mounting plane, so that one conductor (1) runs closer towards the mounting plane and one runs further away from the mounting plane, parallel to it, that a network of conductor pairs is formed from a large number of such conductor pairs, the mechanical retention and electrical connection of the conductors (1) of in each case one plane and a mechanical, electrically insulated connection of the conductors (1) in the two planes being provided adjoining each other at the intersection regions (5), and that the intersections (5) optionally and additionally comprise holding devices (2, 3) for fixed-position mounting and/or an electricity supply device (6) and/or holding devices for electrical loads (4). <IMAGE>
