<p>A new form of heat pack (10) for treating patients undergoing physical therapy and method of heating an area of a patient for physical therapy are disclosed. The heat pack (10) and method involve the use of an exothermic reaction where the fuel used in the heat pack (10) is polymerizable and excess fuel is polymerized to increase the viscosity of the fluid (20) contained within the heat pack (10) by at least about three orders of magnitude.</p> |
