PURPOSE: To provide a wraparound type carton for bottles in which intermediate and gusset panels are disposed in an overlap relation with a top panel when closed by mutually hinging and folding top and bottom panels that form a tubular structure through mutual connection with sidewall panels. CONSTITUTION: A blank 10 comprising such a foldable sheet material as cardboard or the like is provided with the first base panel 12, the first sidewall panel 14, the first upper wall panel 16, a top panel 18, the second upper wall panel 20, the second lower wall panel 22 and the second base panel 24 in this sequence, and these panels are successively hinged along fold lines 26 through 30. The base panel 12 has a plurality of lock tabs T, locks with the base panel by piling it up in relation to lock holes, and is delfined by a retaining tab R formed at a spaced position of the base panel 24 so as to make this blank s tubular. Its both ends are closed with a pair of edge closure panels formed along its longitudinal edge. |
