PURPOSE: To prevent out-of-register between component color latent images. CONSTITUTION: When all the usable values of an average error value Vij are plotted against respective times aij of a reference event, namely, T=0, a point graph which is applied to a curve by a standard method and by which a speed correction curve (profile) on one rotation of a belt, which starts by the reference event, can be generated is obtained. For optimizing the point graph, whole processes are repeated for the previously decided number of times. In a single path printer, twenty four average error values Vij exist for dij . It may be insufficient as a precise speed reinforcing curve. Optimizing is executed and the whole processes are repetitively executed for invalidating the average error owing to the fluctuation of the belt, which occurs by other causes. When the process is repeated for four times, ninety six average error values in total are obtained for ninety six average lapse times. When such repetition is executed, the more precise speed reinforcing curve against belt rotation is obtained. |
