PURPOSE:To enable a user to understand the contents of speech information in a short time by reproducing the speech information in a short time. CONSTITUTION:This method is equipped with a voiced/voiceless sound detection part 20 which detects a pause of a speech file, a phrase length detection part 30 which detects the length of a divided phrase, a phrase constitution part 40 which reconstitutes phrases, a speed indication part 60 which specifies a reproducing speed, and a reproduction control part 50 which performs reproduction by properly thinning out phrases on the basis of the information from the speed indication part 60; after the lengths of the respective phrases are smoothed to reconstitute the frames, the thinning-out process is performed to reproduce the speech information. |
