Page 3 Our invention relates to a " Streetlight Lifetime Saver/ Anti-Pollution Device " A particular application of our invention is for the device to be attached to a Utility Streetlight Bulb Casing to cover a problem area affecting the lifespan of the streetlight Bulb. In particular the invention would be attached between the Utility Streetlight Headpole and the Streetlight Bulb Casing where the two parts converge and are joined together covering the problem area. The Main Intention and Purpose of the invention is to cover such problem area, the Problem Area is an opening large enough for Birds, small Animals ( E?g. Squirels etc. ) and Insects to get thru to the inner cavity of the Streetlight Bulb Casing thereby contaminating the inner cavity with their nest building activity and the introduction of foreign materials, aside from contamination they do tend to damage the inner parts of the Streetlight Bulb Casing by chewing and gnawing them. The device which latches and hooks into place ( into the Streelight Bulb Casing Inner Cavity ) is first fitted over the Utility Streetlight Headpole by insertion, the device is then Snapped-Into Place for use. The device is designed and equipped with Air Holes to allow for proper ventilation and circulation.
