A process and device are disclosed for controlling the valves of an internal combustion engine with several cylinders. The inside of each cylinder is in communication through a pressure line (25) with the piston/cylinder units (valve regulating cylinders 15 to 22) which act on the valves of another cylinder or of several other cylinders, so that the inside of each cylinder is in communication with the valve regulating cylinders of those valves which are to be driven according to the ignition sequence of the internal combustion engine and the cycle of the other cylinder(s). |
